Another Awesome Giveaway This Week!

I'm learning a few things from participating in these Facebook and blogging giveaways: 

1.  It's a great way to make new friends and build new relationships.

2.  There's some awesome stuff people are willing to give away for FREE!

3.  Who knew there were so many insanely talented people out there?!?  Wow.  And what the heck is a photoshop action?

It's Third Thursday!!!

Good morning, good morning!  It's very early but already the discount code is up on Etsy to save you all 30% on your orders today!  I'm excited about Third Thursday because I know we all love a great deal, and 30% off is a great deal! 

On another note, I made these sweet little ballet slippers to go with the Soft Shells hat and diaper cover I made for a friend earlier in the week.  I realized this morning that I forgot to put the shell edging on them, but they are super cute even without the edging I think!  My one-year-old kept putting them on and taking them off this morning, and the 6-year-old wants all of us girls to have matching ones, haha!  So sweet!  They'll be posted to Etsy soon along with the pattern on how to make them.  For now, enjoy the picture!

So I've come to love hat and diaper cover sets.  I think they are quickly becoming my favorite things to make.  They are so versatile and stylish, and just so darn cute!  Here is a sneak preview of one of the newest items I've just posted..I just love these!

Having fun at home today

So the hubby had meetings today, which means that I get to stay home from work today!  Woo hoo!  I love being home with the kids and relaxing with them.  While the 6 year old watched "All Dogs Go To Heaven" and the 1 year old slept, I had time to make a brown tweed diaper cover for a customer.  It came out so cute!  I absolutely love the yarn and I'm looking forward to making the little newsboy brimmed hat that will match.  I think this set will turn out really cute.  I'll post pics as soon as they're done!
